User Portal

Simplify user enrollment and support.

Reduce administrative costs by enabling users to manage their own enrollment and phone/PIN changes and simplify help desk operations with a web based portal:

User Enrollment

Import users from any data source (Active Directory, LDAP, CSV, etc.). An automated e-mail directs them to the portal to complete their enrollment. By completing two quick steps – validating their phone number and setting security questions – the user will be enabled for PhoneFactor.

Auto Enable New Users

PhoneFactor can be configured to automatically enable new directory users for PhoneFactor. When new users are enabled, PhoneFactor sends a customized welcome e-mail. When used in conjunction with the User Portal module, users without phone numbers in the directory can be directed to the User Portal to complete their PhoneFactor enrollment.

User Phone and PIN Management

Users can log in to the portal from any web browser. Normally, a PhoneFactor call will authenticate the user, but users can opt to answer their security questions instead. This allows users who don’t currently have access to their phone (or who forgot their PIN) to access the portal. From the portal, users can change their phone number, PIN, or security questions. Administrators can also choose to allow users to initiate a one-time bypass.

User Management for Help Desks

Enable IT administrators or help desk staff to manage user phone and PIN changes and create a one-time bypass. Administrators can also add new users from the portal and disable existing users.

Easy Installation

The user portal can be installed and configured in minutes. An installation wizard automates the IIS website setup process. Portal settings, including authentication preferences, are configured in the PhoneFactor Agent.
