PC Magazine: RSA Hack Demonstrates Superiority of Cell Phone as 2nd Factor
Larry Seltzer, in a blog post on PCMag.com, writes that the recent RSA breach validates the superiority of utilizing the phone as the second factor of authentication.
“Because of their cost and complexity, cryptographic security tokens have failed to achieve broad acceptance and have probably impeded 2-factor authentication more generally. It’s time for customers to move on to better ideas.”
