PhoneFactor Partners with Accelera Solutions to Bring Out-of-Band Multi-Factor Authentication Services to GSA Customers Looking to Strengthen Access Controls in Light of Recent Attacks

Inclusion in the GSA schedule will streamline the procurement process for government agencies, which are increasingly deploying PhoneFactor in response to escalating cyber threats.
A barrage of recent attacks, including a breach at RSA that compromised millions of security tokens used by government agencies and subsequent attacks against defense contractors Lockheed Martin and Northrup Grumman, are causing agencies to re-evaluate their current authentication practices. Increasingly, they are expanding use of multi-factor authentication and moving to out-of-band authentication methods like PhoneFactor that deliver stronger protection against today’s threats and better scale to meet the demands of wide-scale deployments.
