Secure mobile working

Mobile working is something that we know a little bit about around here at Positive Networks. After all, that’s exactly what our other product line, PositivePRO, is all about: a secure, hosted remote work solution.

A blog post from SAA Associates today points out that mobile working can have major security implications, so it has to be done carefully. One point that they make is that two-factor authentication is dramatically under-utilized by remote workers:

While two-factor authentication is now considered a more secure solution, only 15 per cent of respondents said they used tokens to protect the remote access of mobile workers…
