PhoneFactor at SecureWorld Giving Away Money!
Not only is PhoneFactor free for most people, we were in Boston giving away money last week at the SecureWorld tradeshow. Our marketing people ran a contest for participants that stopped by our booth. When people registered, they entered a mobile phone number. Periodically during the day, all of their phones would ring and the first person back to the booth crossing the “finish line” got $500. Pretty cool and fun to watch the mad scramble to win the money. See pictures below of a couple of the winners getting their cash. Demetria was showing off some coach shoes the next day freshly purchased with PhoneFactor cash. LOL. Nothing to ease those security concerns like a new pair of shoes! I am guessing the other guy below (military person) didn’t run out and get any Coach products.

While at the show, I particpated in a panel discussion regarding identity management and authentication with folks from MS, Improvada, and RSA. Good fun and PhoneFactor really does offer something different from the standard fair being kicked around these days.
