I have been remiss in announcing this, since it actually shipped a while ago, but good news! PhoneFactor 1.1 is available immediately at all of the usual places (and, in particular, at www.phonefactor.net). Third-party distribution sites may need a few days to update, though, so for the freshest code, download it from us. Also, anyone on PhoneFactor Agent 1.0.5 or better will see an "upgrade PhoneFactor" button that will link you directly to the new code.

PhoneFactor 1.1 represents a major feature release, with tons of new stuff since the 1.0 release in July. On the list:

• Full multi-server redundancy
• Live Fraud Alert
• PIN mode
• Custom outbound greetings
• Much more!

Some of these features have been available to select customers for a while now, but this represents the first time that all of this has been available to every PhoneFactor customer. We also did a lot of work that sets us up well for some upcoming new features; more on those in a later post.

PhoneFactor 1.1 continues the (young?) tradition of a great free PhoneFactor product, of course, but some of the new features are part of the enterprise support packages. For more information, see www.phonefactor.net or feel free to drop me a line.
